Summary: Join us for 7 hours of intensive Reality-Based Self-Defence training With the rising incidences of knife attacks, glassings, and racially-motivated assaults, it's becoming more and more important to learn, drill and develop effective self-defence skills.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), roberries are the most common type of assault, and the most likely place for roberries to occur are on the street or footpath. Interestingly, the 18-24 year old age group is also the group most at risk when it comes to robberies. Further to this, many of you are in this age group and are enjoying nights out with friends at the sorts of places where assaults are occurring. This is a crucial time to make sure that your self-defence skills are up to scratch. Last year, more males than females were victims of roberry, attempted murder and murder. Also, knives are the most common weapon used in committing murder, attempted murder and roberries (more common than firearms).
